Oh maaaaaan, it's been 28 weeks since my last post.. that's pretty much forever!!!

Where do I even start?!
I miss Ange and Lou super lots.
And I'm so over Aucks!

-Pumpkin Patch is awesome, loving the job, although it's definately high stress. But I do love the pressure.
-Flat is weird, Dee moved out totally randomly a few weeks back. Bit OCD I think. Meh, she had her reasons.
-Matt is super awesome. I have the bestest asian evah!!! 
-Mum and Dad get back in 2 weeks!! I soooo can't wait to see them. Matt gets to meet them for the first time, but I know they're going to love him!
-Went to Muse on friday!! Squuueeee! Super good. Although not as epic as the BDO.

What else?? It's like I've almost forgotten how to blog! Ha!!!

It's been a while!!

Can't even remember my last update. Sooooooooooo here's the work update:

Works going really really well. Been 2 months today since I started at Pumpkin Patch. I've come a long way I have.
I started in Production, draughting patterns, sample cutting, measuring garments up, doing the odd bit of sewing and stuff. Some filing, housekeeping, like ordering patterns and taking them to the Warehouse and stuff.
Now I'm doing 2 full days a week in the Design room, and have a student that I have to take care of and give tasks and stuff. She starts Tuesday. I'm loving taking care of the Urban Angel and Maternity patterns. Making so many freaking decisions, and it's so crazy. It sucks telling Phyll, the sample machinist what to do, she's 72, and seems like shes 60. There's so much experience around me, so much to learn from. Designs cool, done 3 days so far, it's such a rushy atmosphere, insane creative people!!! haha Other than that, I'm doing really well

Mum and Dad came in today for lunch at the cafeteria at work, it was really good. Took them for a tour round the premises too. They're up for Pauls wedding, which is on Saturday. EEEppppp! Scary as, it's come around so fast. Lucas is doing really well to. Too well, haha he's so fat, 12kgs at 5 months!! hahahah! He's so cool in the jolly jumper!!!

Last weekend was awesome, played Cluedo which lou got me for my bday (IT''S SO FREAKING COOOOOOOOOLLL THE LITTLE FIGURINES ARE LIKE SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) hahah and yeah hung with lou and my olds and stuff. Went out on sat night, saw hot bouncer at Caz Bar, who gave Lou to give me his business card. He's so hot! Squeee! haha

Yeah birthday was pretty awesome, went out with the flatties for a birthday dinner at Celsius, we had such a good night. Spent $300 on dinner and all the drinks we had, well they did tehehe. Um yeah and had brekky at work with all the girlies on Tuesday which was luvleeeeee. Anyways dinners up,

Wow. Ages since I last posted!

Well. Twas Sarah's 21st last night. My old flatmate Sarah. She had it at the Horny Bull, on the Strand in Tga. Was such an awesome night. Had more than a few bourbons! Her Hammy mates did this rad thing with her 21 shots where Tthey'd either tell a story or if she didnt want them to (there was a code word) she'd have to shot. So she only had to do half her shots coz she was piss drunk already!! Nic, Izzy and Dirwin came over too, which was rad as. They couldn't beleive how many hot chicks were there. Damn does Sarah have some gorgeous friends. Including me of course :P haha.

Had the Fashion show on Tuesday night. Everything went really well. Apart from the designer has to walk out with their end of year mens and womens collections and I was meant to stop before I went off and I just stormed straight off the catwalk. It was so funny. Everyone cracked up. I get the DVD soon so hit me up if you wanna watch!

Got the Foo Fighters Skin and Bones CD yesterday. It's fantastic. It's def gonna be my Summer CD.
Ange comes home soon. I can't wait!!! CCT is so on. (not the cat version!)

Welly or Auckland next year? Such a damn hard decision.

Got my extension for tech till Friday if I want to Graduate this year. Which I do so I'm working my ass off to get it done. 7 patterns, 14 garments and 4 accessories, as well as all the paper wotrk to go with it. It's a huge deal. 70% of my year. I'm going to do this. I want my Mum and Dad to see me graduate after not being at my show or seeing anything I've done this year. I want the satisfaction of graduating with the girls I've grown to love so much over the past 2 years. It means so much to me and all my tutors want to see me there. I'm going to do this. For me. 

It's like Lee said that if he failed and didn't complete his 3rd year, and would have to go into a fourth how it would rip him up and let himself down. I thought it was stupid. That shit happens and if you have to spend another year on it then so be it. But when you've thrashed yourself for 2 years, in Lee's case 3, and worked so hard for what you love to do and not to get the satisfaction of graduating on time and getting that damn bit of paper and throwing that hat high above your head and the stupid shaky hands photo...  I've gotta do it. I totally know where he's coming from. I mean yeah my health is my first priority, but so is my self worth and acheivement.

Let's do this shit.

We talked to Israel, and he told us to come to his party the next night. Wicked as :D Didn't go though. Haha. And ummmm Saw Geoffrey and Steven from Taupo, they were so smashed!
Sunday Went to Lous, was so freaking cool to see her again, I missed her so much. *hugs for lou*. Can't wait to get Ange back up here, we tried to have CCT but it wasn't open probably coz Ange wasn't there!

Oh yeah last Thursday me and Ana went out to Krazy Jacks, but it was the crappiest night ever. I think it was coz Jayden wasn't there actually.

The blurred vision and numb face thing still hasn't gone away, been to physio, osteo and the doc, and everyone's really stumped. It's bloody scary. Dad said that If it hasn't gone away in 3 weeks then Mum's flying back to look after meeee! I don't want her to, but I really really miss her like hell.

They think maybe stress has something to do with it. I think they could be right. Lee was so damn helpful when I was stressed, I haven't been able to stop and do nothing in so damn long. I really gotta be careful.

In other news, went round to ANa's and on Thursday and we had an Indie listening sesh, and she put the Goons on, and I looked at the CD cover and burst out laughing, on the cover is the 3 band members, standing on a beach naked with their white butts to the camera. And ANa, miss modest that she is, bloody went and drew pants on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HAHAHHHA she is so damn funny.

But it's at Arthur Toyes, and I don't really wanna work there still, but it's a starting point!

Still, all in all, I think I've done pretty damn good :) Absolutely blown away with my strut marks :) gotta post some pics too!

Finally got round to posting my Pasifika Photo's!

Had the shittiest time making this, hated it, everything about it, then when Robyn (my model) put it on, it just looked amazing. So at long last here are the photo's! I ended up getting through to Westfield Style Pasifika (5th and 6th of October) and got 85.5%, easily being able to get 96% if my research had have been a bit better.\

This Pasifika shit I've been bitching about the last 6 weeks came to an end today.
Had interviews with all the tutors and guest judges, which was bloody scary, and our garments got photographed by a professional photographer and by al the local newpapers...

My model, Robyn from year one, was freaking excellent, she had he hair done beautifully in ringlets and strong smokey eyes and looked absolutely beautiful in my Pacific inspired wedding dress. Will definately have to get some photos up, the ones the photographer took.

I modeled Ann's dress (the 80 year old crazy woman in my year) and had an awesome time with the photographer being all crazy like. She was like "smack your ass!" "get on the floor!" and im like REOW! and she laughed and she goes... Actually... HOLD THAT POSE! lol it was so much fun!

Anyways the best news is that out of the entire year two, the competition was for 6 ensembles to get through to the Westfield Style Pasifika comp..
AND MINE GOT THROUGH!!!!!!

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FARKING STOKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And everything is worth it now... I spent over $350 on that ensemble. And not I'm getting recognised.
What was crazy was that the other 5 that got picked were all quite traditional, using creams and browns.. where mine used brown, purple, blue and green!

Will definately get those pics up as soon as I get my hot little hands on them!!!
